I am an Italian illustrator and visual artist, born and raised in Florence, Italy, and now living in Los Angeles, California. My journey as an artist began with a strong interest in comics and visual narrative. I refined my techniques at the International School of Comics (Scuola Internazionale di Comics) in Florence, Italy, where I studied sequential art and script writing. I graduated in 2010 and spent the next few years working in hospitality to make ends meet.
In the fall of 2012, I embarked on a journey that took me to Australia, Japan, New Zealand, India, Nepal, and the Western United States, where I finally settled down and now live with my wife. I am currently expanding my portfolio and working on personal projects.
I draw inspiration from the people and places I have been fortunate to see in my world travels, as well as many great theatrical and animated works. These sources of inspiration push me to search for a cinematic sense of photography and movement in my illustrations, playing with the contrast between light and darkness that I try to infuse in every work.
My resume and references are available to potential employers upon request.
